We provide needed information to the public and are actively involved networking together a multiple community effort. Help support our campaigns (these initiatives are now in development).

4. Call or write members of Congress and support funding for Federal McKinney homeless programs, enough to make sure that current projects serving the homeless in city, state and county will continue. Congressional phone directory lists your locally elected federal government representatives at 202-224-3121.
Find a list of all House of Representative Members online at http://www.house.gov/house/MemberWWW.shtml
5. Employ homeless people at livable wages.
6. Urge faith-based or other organizations you are part of to donate space or resources to provide shelter or new housing to homeless people. 7. Volunteer your time and join with friends to help homeless people as part of a nationwide community progress organizing effort. There are many groups needing your help. Click on www.VolunteerMatch.com or our home page type in your zipcode.
8. Write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper supporting housing and assistance for homeless people. Call radio talk shows and TV news stations to address their responsibility to cover vital social issues at home. Speak passionately about the concerns you share with other viewers/listeners in your immediate media coverage area.
9. Support siting with local leaders and neighborhood stakeholders by having a community conversation with a service organization, shelter, or low-income housing advocacy group. Together find another ten ways of helping homeless people in your area.
10. Get involved now. A few hours a week or a month can make a major difference. Educate yourself and your family about who homeless people are (meet with the homeless in your area and bring food or blankets) and ask how yourself, neighbors and other people you talk to in your community can make a difference locally. United we all can come to the aid of HomelessHelp.com
