This brief survey asks 10 questions relating to homelessness and advocacy in the Los Angeles area. In addition to gaining information on this issue, some questions have been included to see if current initiatives are being utilized fully.
At the outset, it is important to realize that the survey is completely anonymous. Your name will not be known, so please, be completely honest when answering the questions so that the results we get are as accurate as possible.
This survey is being conducted throughout Los Angeles, to collect information on the challenges in our region. The aim of this is to accurately determine the extent and nature of how advocacy groups function. It is important to remember that homeless service providers can come in many forms and this survey will help to establish which groups are most prevalent and what their needs are.
Once collated, the information that is obtained will be used to develop an effective response to how we can effectively work together with your organization in 2007 to share ideas and co-develop resources. Some information may also be used in a report to be distributed throughout the county. Through a series of teleconference forums and community conversations which will be held throughout the coming year, the information may also be used to assist other urban communities in addressing this issue. .
Again, the information used will only be statistical – your identity will not be disclosed at any stage. It is important that each of you complete the survey so that we can get the whole picture of your effort to ease homelessness in our county and tackle the problem successfully. By taking just six minutes to answer ten questions in the survey, you will be helping our effort to launch Homeless Help.com & work with you in the community. |
